Artist's Comments

Starscream inspired "mech" tho he doesn't really resemble the one in the movie or in the comics/anime too much, but it was fun to draw. No real "aircraft" that he tries to resemble, just drawn for fun(which is reason enough, yes?) I had to toss in some white with Photoshop, since I took the image with my camera, as my scanner is busted, and the drawing below shone through the thin marker paper(pro am I not).

Lines done straight with a copic multiliner 0.3 with magic markers/copics for shading. Need to get more markers, I'm sorta stuck with the greys and some colors. :)

I like the pose and the overall sketchy quality of it. I think the limited color pallet helped it.

awsome. starscreams always been one of my favorites since back in the 80's. It's just to bad lotta died and couldn't voice him in the film.

Ooooooh yes. Starscream is my favorite<3 I named my Murkow after him o__O And this is just great. I can't draw mecha for crap, so I'm jealous of people who can >w<

Hell, i think this looks better then the one in the movie. Got to say its pretty sweet.

Yeah, the one in the movie while having a similar M.O. to the 80's version, complete with being a coward(he only faught till they(the US Air force) ganged up on him then he took off(maybe for a sequel?)) and other subtleties like his banter with Megatron.

Otherwise he looked more like the Beast Wars Waspanator than he resembled any previous version seen. It's not that they could use Michael Dobson(Armada Screamer(Starscream)), Marc Thompson(Newest Cobra Commander), Chris Latta(Dead) for the role.

Bwah- This looks awesome. I wish more of the lines between Megatron and Screamer made it into the movie, but hey, he's still that cowardly traitor we all know and love.

I really love the detail and form to the torso and arms, Overall, great image. Worthy of faving.
